shakespeare novel

Within the drama of daily life, Wiggins and Wiggins effectively renders the process of writing and producing a play in Elizabethan England. This is an extraordinary lesson in Renaissance Theatre and Renaissance life. This novel makes me want to sit down to dinner with Good Will and have a serious talk about love and life.

This book is written in a style easy to digest. It puts Will on a human scale as a person whose life was full of the trials and tribulations any of us might encounter. The difference here is that while he is endeavoring to keep his and his family's life on track, he is producing what will become world renowned literary works. The heart of this book, I believe, is to portray brilliance in human form as though he were your friend, relative, or neighbor.

Outstanding “family dynamics!” Dialogue very convincing. Just a great read!! It’s dramatic and has a feel of “authority” about it.
Paul D. Winston, Retired Professor, Ann Arbor MI
